Definitions

The goal of this policy ("Policy", "Agreement") is to outline how The My CP & Me Store ("We", "Us", "Our", "My CP & Me", "The Store") is going to make the best effort we can to be transparent to our customers ("You", "Your", "Customer")

What is Transparency?

Transparency is setting clear and explicate expectations for both the store and our customers so both parties know exactly what to expect.

What Our Transparency Policy Covers

This policy will cover business practices, availability of items, policies, and other necessary information. We will never attempt to tick or deceive you intentionally. We will always do our best to be explicate and clear and provide you all the necessary information you need to make informed decisions while at our store. A great example of our efforts to being transparent comes with our product pages which clearly indicate with a large sign if the specific product is eligible for return and refund or not. It is transparency like this which allows you, the customer, to make good and informed purchasing decisions. We will be clear and explicate to the upmost best of our ability on every expect of the store including (but not limited to) pricing, policies, sales terms, product availability etc. (this transparency does not apply to confidentiality clause)

Limitations of Transparency (Confidentiality Clause)

While we do strive for transparency in most aspects we also pride ourselves on customer privacy. Well yes, we do strive to be accurate and upfront on all things relating to the store in order to give our customers the best experience possible and minimize confusion; we also strive to respect customer privacy. Therefore, even though we are transparent about publicly accessible information (such as policies and procedures) the same transparency does not apply to private information (such as order history and customer data and any other personal/confidential data) this is information we will not release except (a) upon verifying you are the individual that information pertains to and therefore have a  right to access the information (b) to comply with a court order. We also will not provide any information which could jeopardize the safety or security of our business.

Changes To This Policy

We reserve the right to amend this policy in part or in its entirety at any time without notice to you. It is your responsibility to check this policy for updates periodically. Your continued use of our store constitutes acceptance of any changes made to this policy.

Archives

You can access archives of this policy at https://themycpandmestore.com/pages/archives-transparency-policy for your convenience and transparency we offer you an archive of this policy. When you make a purchase or otherwise access the site it is the version of the policy that was in effect the day you make the purchase that will apply. To prevent overwhelming you we do only retains archives of this policy for a maximum of 2 years since the last effective date on this policy. For instance if this policy was updated on January 1, 2035 any archive dated effective January 1, 2033 or earlier would be available at our sole discretion only and may at that point be inaccessible. The only exception to the two year retention window is in the event that a policy is not updated for more than two years meaning following the revisions every version including the version that was just revised would fall out of the retention period in this case the version just prior to the revision will still be retained even though it exceeds the two year window. For instance of a policy is update on June 8th, 2024, June 9th 2025 and not updated again until July 17th, 2035 technically all prior versions would fall outside this window but thanks to this special prevision we would erase June 8th, 2024 but still keep June 9th 2025 as it is the last version before the revisions

Changes To This Policy

My CP & Me reserves the right, in its sole discretion, without notice to you to alter, change, or amend (both in part and in whole) the Terms under which the Site is provided. The most current version posted to the Site at https://themycpandmestore.com/pages/transparency-policy henceforth will supersede and nullify all prior versions. My CP & Me encourages you to to periodically review the Terms to stay informed on policies which govern the Site and its Services. Your continued use of the Site or Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes in their entirety.
