Advertisement Policy

Definitions

The Advertisement Policy (“Policy”) is an agreement between The My CP & Me Store (“Us”, “We” “Our”, “The My CP & Me Store”, “The Store”, “My CP & Me”) and you, the customer (“you”, “your”, “customer”) this policy has the express purpose of explaining advertisement policy and to explain how we advertise. This policy applies solely to the store and not our other websites or services.

Advertising Platforms

Our advertisements are ran through Google Adsense (“Adsense”, “Google”) Adsense is the only platform for now but we reserve the right to advertise with other partners at any time. If we do so this policy will be updated to reflect the change

Ad Placement

Google provides us a snippet of code which we embed in our store where we want ads to appear. We are in total control of ad placements.

Specific Ads

While we do have some ad controls (explained further in next section “Ad Controls”) We cannot dictate exactly what ads appear on our website. Advertisers bid for spaces with Google and it is Google that (with our consent) places the ads for us in the spaces we pre-designated for them.

Ad Controls

While we cannot dictate the specific ads that appear on our site we can block specific ads if we deem them inappropriate to our image. We can also block specific categories of ads like sexual content ads for example or any other category we deem inappropriate for our image.

Monetary Compensation

We do make money on the ads placed by Google. We get paid-per-click (PPC) meaning every time someone clicks one of our ads we make a commission. We will never pressure or otherwise encourage you to click on an ad we present to you (doing so is a direct violation of Adsense program terms) we are simply disclosing we do make a commission on these ads.

Advertisements Not Appearing

Ads may on occasion not appear for a few reasons (1) you have an ad blocker preventing ads from appearing (2) Google has no ads to place at this time. If you would like to see ads being blocked by an ad blocker try disabling the blocker. As far as Google not having ads for us that happens on occasion in this case our designated ad spaces will be automatically hidden and ads will reappear when Google has ads for us to show again.

Changes To This Policy

We reserve the right to amend this policy in part or in its entirety at any time without notice to you. It is your responsibility to check this policy for updates periodically. You continue use of our store constitutes acceptance of any changes made to this policy.

When you make a purchase or otherwise access the site it is the version of the policy that was in effect the day you make the purchase that will apply
