Discount Policy
The Discount Policy (“Policy” “Agreement”) is an agreement between The My CP & Me Store (Us, We, My CP & Me, Our) and you, our customer (Customer, You, Your, Buyer, Purchaser) the purpose of this agreement is to clarify when and how discount codes and other promotions can be used
Types of Discounts
We have two (2) types of discounts. Code-based discounts and automatically applied discounts. Code-based discounts are a type of discount where you have to enter a pre-specified word or phase which may or may not contain numbers (code) into a designated box on the cart or checkout pages to get the discount applied. (Refereed to on the store as a “Promo Code”) Automatically applied discounts are a type of discount that will be (as the name suggests) automatically applied to your order if your order meets the criteria for the discount (such as with our free shipping discount) code-based discounts are NOT case sensitive and can be entered any way you'd like.
Number of Discounts Per Order
You can use only ONE (1) discount code per order with the exception of any automatically applied discounts like with our free shipping discount - those are the only types of discounts you can combine with other discounts. If the discount is “code-based” the one (1) discount per order applies. (Combinations can only happen if authorized. See "Combinations" section of this policy for details on discount combination)
Free Shipping
We offer free shipping on any orders $50.00 or higher free shipping discounts are applied automatically as long as you place an order with an applicable cart value of $50.00 or higher. Free shipping discounts can be combined with one other code based discount. If the code based discount brings your total below $50.00 you will lose your free shipping discount.
Exclusive Discount Programs
We offer discounts to qualified individuals. This discount is 20% off on orders $60.00 or higher. The following categories of people qualify: Teachers, Medical Worker, Military (Military Families), First Responders, Students, Low income earners, and Seniors. You can learn more about the Exclusive Discount Program at https://themycpandmestore.com/pages/exclusive-discount-programs if you qualify for our EDP than we will email you a discount code. Since this code is not an automatically applied discount you can only use one code per order.
Promotions
On occasion and at our sole discretion we may offer sales and promotions to our customers. Any sales offered to our customers will be announced in advance on the stores homepage under the “What’s New?” section. Any promotions will also always be accompanied by applicable terms specific to the promotion. These terms will be accessible as a link on the homepage including with the promotion posting. Any applicable promotion terms as well as these terms (in their entirety) apply.
Special Discounts
We may (at our sole discretion) issue special discounts. These discounts are issued to a specific person for completing a specific action, such as leaving a review. This special discounts are issued on a person-by-person basis. The terms for any special discounts will be emailed to you with the code. The terms in the email as well as these terms (in their entirety) apply to all special discounts. Special discounts are code-based and not automatically applied
Uses Per Customer
Unless a specific discount says otherwise in the terms of the discount we only allow one use per customer per code-based discount this means once you use the discount you won’t be eligible to use the same discount again. Automatically applied discounts do not carry this stipulation.
Accessing Terms of A Currently Running Promotion
When we run a promotion or sale we will include a banner at the top of our store. This banner will appear only when the sale is actively going on and will not appear before the start date of the sale nor after the sales conclusion. This banner will give you the terms of the sale as well as the discount code necessary to take advantage of the sale. The banner will only appear when you begin to scroll on a page, at first you won't see the banner but if you start scrolling the banner will come into view and will remain in place on the page once visible unless you navigate to a new page at which point scrolling will make the banner visible again but sometimes once visible the banner may stay even when navigating to a new page. The banners colors may change to match the theme of the promotion (like for a promotion for Halloween the colors could be different than a 4th of July promotion) The banner will have information like amounts off displayed and in the dotted line box will be the discount code needed for the promotion. All terms of the sale will be in the banner that will appear.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are treated EXACTLY like code-based discounts. All the terms in this policy that dictate how and when code-based discounts can be used also apply to gift cards. Any use of gift cards also counts as your one code-based discount per order. Therefore, a code-based discount cannot be used with a gift card and neither can an automatically applied discount (unless terms expressly say otherwise) although usually in terms of gift cards combinations will NOT be permitted
Combinations
Unless discount terms expressly say otherwise discounts cannot be combined with other discounts in any way. For instance if you use a code-based discount on an order that would normally qualify for our free shipping discount the free shipping won't be applied because you used a code-based discount on that order. We don't allow discount combination to prevent large discounts therefore, the use of any code-based discount (unless otherwise stated in discount terms) would disqualify your order from any automatically applied discount you may otherwise be eligible for. In the event combinations are ever permitted specifically what combinations when and where will be included in the terms of the applicable promotional sale
Changes To This Policy
We reserve the right at our sole discretion to change this policy in part or in its entirety at any time and without notice to you it is your responsibility to periodically check this policy for updates. We recommend reviewing this policy every time you are considering using a discount
