Blindness
According to childbirthinjuries.com vision problems occur in 75-90% of children with Cerebral Palsy. 1 in 10 of those children are blind. The My CP & Me Store raises awareness and support for vision impairments & blindness as a result of this statistic. As with everything Cerebral Palsy can be just as unique as the person diagnosed, no two cases are alike. A person diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy can have no co-existing or other conditions connected to CP or they may have any number of them. Cerebral Palsy is not a pre-requisite for any co-existing condition that may occur nor is any co-existing condition a pre-requisite for CP.
